The recruiting process is a great way to learn more about who you are, what you have done in the past, and what your  plans are for the future. Conversely, it is also an excellent opportunity for you to get to know us better and see if a career with A.T. Kearney would fit your expectations and plans. Therefore, we put a lot of emphasis on a thorough recruiting process.

The standard recruiting process consists of a resume screening, a problem solving test, and three rounds of interviews.

Resume Screening

Every application is carefully examined by our recruiting team. If your skills and background fit our current needs, within two weeks, you will get an invitation to sit for our problem solving test. If we do not contact you within this timeframe, you should assume that we have found a more suitable candidate for the role.

Problem Solving Test

Selected candidates receive an invitation to our office to sit for a 60 minute written test in the English language. The test examines your analytical, quantitative, verbal, and structuring skills.

Experienced hires: In some cases, experienced hires may not be required to sit for the problem solving test.

First Round Interviews: 1-2 interviews, including a case study

After successfully completing the problem solving test, you will be invited to the first round of interviews conducted by our consultants. During the first round, we evaluate your general suitability for a position with A.T. Kearney. Furthermore, you will be asked to analyze and propose a solution to a real-life consulting problem. Short brain teasers may be featured as well.

Second Round Interviews: 1-2 interviews, including a case study

Upon successfully passing first round interviews, you will be invited to the second round of interviews conducted by our senior consultants. The nature of these interviews is very similar to those in the first round.

Internships: There are no second round interviews for internship positions—internship candidates who successfully pass first round interviews are invited directly into the final round.

Final Round Interviews: 1-2 interviews, including a case study

After you successfully pass the previous rounds of interviews, you will be invited to the final round of interviews where you will have the chance to speak with someone from the leadership of the Prague office.

If you pass the final round, we will prepare a contract offer for you shortly thereafter. The position you will be offered will depend on your background and the outcome of the interviews.
